Barking for Breast Cancer
On Sunday, October 12, 2008, Pink Ribbon Girls, in partnership with the SPCA, will sponsor a day for dogs with a walk and other fun activities at Winton Woods Park. “Barking for Breast Cancer” will feature a dog costume contest, doggie parade, trick show, “Hot Dog” Awards and photos with Ben-Gal Cheerleaders. All proceeds benefit Pink Ribbon Girls, an organization of young breast cancer survivors that provide education, support and inspiration to young women dealing with breast cancer.
Activity Schedule
11:30 am Barking Blessing: Vineyard Community Church- 12:00 pm Costume Contest: Small/Medium/Large divisions
- 1:00 pm TBA
- 2:00 pm Ben-Gal’s Doggie Spirit Club: Ben-Gals will pick leader of the pack
- 3:00 pm Doggie Parade & Trick Show
- 4:00 pm Ending ceremonies and presentation of “Hot Dog” Awards
Radio remote will be provided by WGRR 103.5, who will be on-site from 11am to 4pm.

Registration
Registration for the event will be at the Harper Meadows Shelter, at Winton Woods Park, 10245 Winton Road, between 9:30 am – 11am. Or you may pre-register online. The cost is $20.00 per dog. Dogs may walk anytime between 11am and 4pm, at their own “paw pace” through beautiful Winton Woods Park.
Register Online by October 29th. You can pay with Visa or MasterCard.

Pink Ribbon Girls are seeking sponsors, as well as exhibitors, for the event. Sponsorships levels are: Top Dog: $2000; Hot Dog: $1000; Loving Paws: $500 Milk Bone: $100. Booth space is available for $50 to promote a business or organization. Booth sponsors are asked to bring there own display tables, tents and chairs.
