Patient Coordinator (Part-Time)

Job Purpose:

Patient Coordinator will facilitate the enrollment of services for Pink Ribbon Girls clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Coordinator responsibilities include contacting clients and enrolling them in desired programs.  Responsibilities also include data entry, customer service, preparing reports upon request and maintaining appropriate databases and filing systems.  The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills. 

  • Process Client Applications

  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports; such as Weekly Meal List, House Cleaning Vendor Referral List

  • Act as point of contact for clients and Hospital Case Workers and/or Patient Navigators

  • Field client requests and take appropriate action in Client Profile

  • Field organizational inquiries (e-mail/telephone) and direct to proper personnel

  • Maintain Contact Lists

  • Liaise with Programming Director and CEO

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The qualifications that are necessary to be considered for this position include:

  • Strong Critical Thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated

  • Ability to use Computer Software programs

  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of office equipment i.e. printers

  • Excellent time management; ability to successfully manage a caseload

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions:

This position requires the Patient Coordinator to work in an office environment and required attendance at flagship Pink Ribbon Girls Sponsored events. 

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements for this position include sitting at a desk long periods of time.
