Regional Manager – Columbus, Ohio

Reports to: CEO/President
Status: Exempt
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Overview:
Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Manager (RM) will have responsibility for Pink Ribbon Girls’ (PRG) fundraising and programs within the Columbus region. The RM will be a member of PRG’s Management Team and will be responsible for helping PRG reach its annual organizational goals. This position is full time salaried with benefits.

Areas of Responsibility

Fundraising & Communications

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit and manage a portfolio of prospects and donors (both private and corporate) within the Columbus region
  • Partnering closely with the CEO to ensure all strategic fundraising goals are achieved quarterly and annually
  • Expand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and regional expansion
  • Deepen and refine all aspects of communications—from web presence to external relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand
  • Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities

Management

  • Ensure ongoing program excellence, consistent quality fundraising and communications needed to achieve PRG’s strategic goals for the Columbus region
  • Actively engage and energize PRG clients, volunteers, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and donors

Planning & Development

  • Assist with the development of a regional strategic plan; lead the plan’s execution
  • Build partnerships in the Columbus region; Establish relationships with business, political, and community leaders
  • Locally communicate program results and act as an advocate for further regional and national expansion

Position qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 to 5 years of fundraising experience; with a demonstrated track record of success in fund development and leading an outcomes-based fundraising program; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized fund development strategies that have met annual goals and resulted in program growth.
  • Strong marketing, public relations, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
  • Excellence in achieving strategic objectives, and managing a budget
  • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation
  • Stature, gravitas, and confidence to gain the respect of a high-performing Board of Directors and donors
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator with the ability to effectively engage with donors, volunteers, clients, service partners and colleagues. 
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team member who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance, and administration initiatives

Transportation Specialist - Columbus

Pink Ribbon Girls is seeking a compassionate applicant to transport clients to and from appointments in a safe, timely fashion supporting the PRG mission of balancing the fear and uncertainty that breast and other women's reproductive cancers bring to individuals and families by providing direct services, education, and support.  Transportation occurs from door to door, and all employees are expected to be courteous, helpful, and patient toward clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Compassion for clients
·       Excellent communication skills
·       Punctual
·       Reliable transportation
·       Valid OH driver's license
·       No DUIs, ever
·       Must pass background check and interview
·       Flexibility

Responsibilities:

·       Confirmation call to clients prior to pick up
·       Communication with main office on a regular basis
·       Must provide door to door transportation
·       Assist clients in process of boarding
·       Assist clients in process of being seated to include seat belt if needed
·       Must provide physical support or assistance and oral direction to clients
·       Stowage of mobility aids such as canes, oxygen tanks, IV's, walkers, folding wheelchairs, child seats, and crutches
·       Confirm client destination prior to vehicle departure
·       Follow state laws concerning seat belts and child restraints

Job Type: Part-time; Day shift

Salary: $11.00 /hour

Location: Columbus and surrounding areas

Required license or certification:  Valid Ohio Driver's License, no points

Required education:  High school or equivalent

Program Associate

Program Associate responsibilities include contacting and setting clients up with services, data entry, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.

Part time position: 20-25 hours per week

Location: Dayton

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist clients with setting up services
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and hospital case workers
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports; i.e. weekly meal order, ride counts, etc
  • Process client data
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Responsible for office filing
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Liaise with CEO and Director of Operations

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Marketing Assistant

Part-time: 20 hours/per week

Marketing Assistant Job Purpose:

Works closely with the Director of Marketing to create engaging content for social media and community presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media and marketing avenues to connect with audiences and the community.

Marketing Assistant Job Duties:

  • Manages company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content
  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on the organization’s sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Assists marketing management with large projects, events, and community engagement
  • Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
  • Analyzes and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Assists in writing and is responsible for distributing weekly e-newsletters
  • Manages social media communications
